Linet is a (Re)Insurance specialist with longstanding experience in the African insurance market and now lead’s UNDP’s Insurance and Risk Finance Facility’s work across Africa, based out of Pretoria. Previously, she was the Secretary General at the Organisation of Eastern and Southern Africa Insurers responsible for crafting and implementing the organisation’s strategy on a sustainable Sub-Saharan Insurance Market. Prior to that she was the Director, Business Development – East & Central Africa, at Afro-Asian Insurance Services, a Lloyd’s of London Reinsurance Broker where she was serving as the Head of the Nairobi Liaison office.
